Contemporary potters Jonathan  Chiswell Jones and Kerry Bosworth will join us from their Sussex studio and talk us through De Morgan’s process of creating lustreware. Learn how his recipes are still used to marvellous effect by potters today.

William De Morgan’s Dragons

On St George’s Day, join De Morgan Curator, Sarah Hardy, to look discover the myths, legends, and the deeply personal to the purely decorative reasons which drove William De Morgan to use dragons in so much of his artwork.

Join Dr Chris Jordan for this online talk and discover the tiles De Morgan designed for interior schemes for private yachts and ocean liners. From the Czar of Russia’s yacht to P&O ocean liners, this talk promises to be an illuminating voyage of discovery.
