De Morgan Patrons

Becoming a De Morgan Patron is a rewarding and engaging way to support the Foundation and the De Morgan Collection.  Our Patrons are a dedicated group of enthusiasts who provide valuable support while enjoying a closer connection to the Foundation.    We are incredibly grateful for the loyalty and support provided by all our Patrons, who are an important part of the De Morgan family.


The Foundation is an independent registered charity and our Patrons play a vital role in supporting us across many different areas, including the care, conservation, and display of the collection, funding new acquisitions, and help us stage exhibitions and expand access for visitors in the UK and worldwide, now and in the years to come, and we thank our Patrons for supporting us in stewarding this collection for future generations.

In recent years Patrons have supported the acquisition of ceramics, drawings, books, and the refurbishment of our museum.

Benefits

In recognition of their significant support, Patrons are invited to enjoy a number of more intimate events and activities, tailored to individual interests.  These include:

  • A personal welcome and an invitation to a Curator-led, private behind-the-scenes visit to the Foundation’s art store which houses the archives and the Evelyn De Morgan drawings collection
  • Invitations to De Morgan private views and opening receptions
  • Invitations to our annual Patrons Day with the De Morgan Foundation Curator and the Chair and Trustees
  • A quarterly news update on the De Morgan Collection and the Foundation’s activities
  • The opportunity to ‘adopt’ a specific artwork to ensure its long-term care, conservation, and public display, to be acknowledged in the collection catalogue, in the annual report, and near the artwork itself (where possible).
  • The opportunity to help the Foundation with new acquisitions to the Collection, with conservation work, and with support for temporary exhibitions, touring exhibitions, and educational projects by the Foundation.
  • Subject to your agreement, we’ll recognise your support on our website and in the De Morgan Foundation annual report.

Patrons make a suggested annual donation of £500.
