As the premier designer for ceramics of the Victorian period, it is no wonder that William De Morgan’s ceramics were bought by architects, Dukes, a Russian Tzar, and the heiress of the Singer Sewing Machine empire.

As a result, De Morgan ceramics crop up in private and public buildings and unusual collections all the time.

Find out more about De Morgan’s eclectic mix of clients, and where his tiles are now, in this online lecture by De Morgan Curator, Sarah Hardy.
