Description:

Larger than life sized bust of a faun. In several of Mrs Stirling’s hand written catalogues she claims that this bust was modelled by Evelyn, decorated by William and fired by the Italian potter Cantagalli. However in an earlier catalogue Mr Stirling states that the bust was modelled by De Morgan himself assisted by an Italian called Farini who worked for De Morgan and Co.
