Non-Executive Director, De Morgan Foundation

Interested in the Arts?  Looking for a more hands-on Non-Exec role with a charity?  Do you have a track record of delivery at a senior level?  Can you commit time, energy and expertise to help shape our future and achieve our goals?  If you can answer yes to these questions this might be the ideal opportunity for you.

The De Morgan Foundation, a registered, independent charity, owns and cares for the De Morgan Collection of artworks, provides public access to it and runs related educational and other activities and events.  The De Morgan Collection is the largest single collection of artworks by William De Morgan, the foremost ceramic artist of the Arts and Crafts Movement, and his wife Evelyn Pickering De Morgan, an accomplished painter in the Pre-Raphaelite style.

The Foundation has undergone significant change in the last three years and is now ready to move to the next stage of development.  To complement the existing Board of Directors of the Trustee with further expertise, the Board is seeking dynamic individuals who are interested in the Collection and motivated to contribute to the work of the Foundation.  Expertise in fundraising, legal, marketing, communications, or museums and galleries is particularly welcome.
