The De Morgan Centre is one of the most beautiful small museums in London. It houses the finest collection of the ceramics of William De Morgan, one of the most important figures of the 19th Century Arts and Crafts movement and paintings by his wife, Evelyn, also very highly esteemed in her day. The De Morgan Centre was granted a Licence in March 2005, allowing people to take advantage of the lovely space for their special event.

The Longstaff Room where the Ceremonies are held and where the collection is displayed is itself a lovely timber-roofed Arts and Crafts period building which adds considerably to the colourful, glittering collection to create a sumptuous whole. The room is a wonderful setting for both small intimate occasions and larger affairs. The adjoining temporary gallery space is available for champagne and canapé receptions.

The Ceremony can be performed on any day of the week and can be personalised with music, readings etc. We are able to provide room for up to 100 (not all seated). The only proviso being that the ceremony should be secular. Whilst The De Morgan Centre provides the venue, responsibility for agreeing the ceremony and all its details rests with the Registrar at Wandsworth Town Hall.

If you contact us, we will be happy to give you more details and arrange for you to view the Centre and meet the staff who will do their best to make your day a very special one.
